A federal inmate fired two shots inside Kingston General Hospital yesterday, after taking a gun away from a Correctional Officer. Police say the inmate had been taken to the emergency department for medical treatment Monday evening. He disarmed the officer and fired off two shots — injuring one person before he was restrained. The citizen who was shot suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries, and the inmate was arrested and taken to police headquarters.
A loss for the Sens last night — 7-5 to the Panthers (so Kornicky owes me two bucks.) The Leafs beat the Blue Jackets 4-2, and it was the Capitals over the Canadiens 5-4. The Sens are in Minnesota tomorrow, the Leafs are in Carolina, and the Habs are in New Jersey.
